Now the best essential oil I would recommend is actually plain old rose oil. The problem is it’s expensive, because you literally have to distill down thousands of rose petals to get just 1oz of it, and that takes work, money, and everything else of course. Rosewood oil on the other hand is a bit of a different story. It is also known as aniba rosaeodora, and it is most commonly used in aromatherapy, coming not from the rose, but the rosewood tree. It is found in rainforests, and it’s used as both a tonic and a stimulant to the immune system. It can be used to fight various different types of infections, and it can also be a mild painkiller, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, and aphrodisiac among other things. it has been used to rebuild the skin tissue, which gets rid of scars, wrinkles, and stretch marks, and it is extremely gentle even as an antiseptic. It is non irritating, nontoxic, and nonsensitizing, and basically this all makes it extremely beneficial and one of the safer oils to use on any skin type. It has definitely been used on acne and continues to do so, because it’s effective, plain and simple.
