Choosing The Right Sunscreen

August 25th, 2009

There are ways to avoid acne and otherwise avoid skin damage.  If you get too much sun, your skin will actually produce too much oil and cause too many various problems. However, many have found that when they use sunscreens in general, they tend to clog the pores, irritate the skin, and in general terms do far more damage to the skin than they would have otherwise suffered.  Titanium dioxide is one of the most common natural ingredients found in sunscreens.  This industrial grade ingredient in general can actually damage, irritate, and otherwise redden the skin among other things.  But some also use alcohol and otherwise.  All of these ingredients actually unfortunately cause greater sensitivity to the sun and therefore a greater likelihood of skin damage as well as greater excess oil production among other things.  It can also cause dermatitis, allergic reactions and otherwise general skin problems that extend far beyond acne as a general thing.  So when looking for your sunscreen, just be careful so that you know what you are actually getting.  Otherwise, you could end up with skin damage problems you never imagined, and you could end up with various other issues that you may not have expected in general terms when dealing with all of this.  After all, all you actually wanted was a good sunscreen, not expecting greater sun sensitivity or other problems in general.
